I'm Hayaan Dangra, a high school senior at Alliance Academy in Georgia. Born to immigrant parents and growing up in a rural community, I was very lonely. I spent lots of time with a pencil and a notebook. I found that the structured nature of math quantified the uncertainty of life into an objective truth that could be deduced through logic.
That's still how I work. I've been on math teams since elementary school — Mathletes, UGA Math Competition, KSU, MathLeague. I placed 2nd at State in FBLA Data Analysis (NYC air quality proposal). I compete in cybersecurity (Cyberavengers, NCL, CyberPatriot) because math is the underlying mechanism that allows the Internet to function.
For the past 3 years, I've been CFO of Elote King, my family's food business. I use regression and prediction algorithms based on market data to make financial decisions. I also work as an AI Automation Developer at Pure Tech Innovation, where I build workflows that have increased productivity by 100%. Everything I do — business, code, security, teaching — is math applied to real problems.
