Math Explorations
These are math concepts from class that I wanted to see in action. Drag the sliders, move the points, and watch the math unfold.
Perpendicular Bisector
I built this in Desmos in middle school. It does something that still looks like magic to me
Geometric Series
Adding halves forever should take forever. It doesn't. Here's why that's actually provable
Taylor Series
e^x is transcendental. A polynomial shouldn't be able to approximate it. It does anyway
Why I Built These
I wanted to dive deeper and visualize the concepts we learned in class. Building something where I can see the math moving helped it click in a way textbooks never did. Each demo started with a question I couldn't stop thinking about.
Honest note: I used AI tools to help with the coding — I'm not a programmer. But the math design — what to visualize, what parameters matter, what's actually interesting to explore — that part is mine. The AI can't do that because it doesn't know what I'm trying to understand.
